Shantay Coleman Martinez - Owner

Shantay Coleman Martinez owns and operates Gatsby Glass in the Tri-Cities. She was born and raised in Southwestern Virginia and moved to Tennessee in 1995. She loves that she gets to live in some of the most beautiful country in the world with amazing, kind people and plenty of places to explore and enjoy. She’s excited to bring spectacular Gatsby Glass to this community.

Before we get into the bio about Shantay, it is important to know one thing about her. She is passionate about customer service and bringing quality products to customers and providing a positive customer experience. That passion is what attracted Shantay to launch Gatsby Glass in our area. Gatsby Glass can help you create a custom glass solution to make almost any space in your home or business more beautiful, elegant, and timeless. Whether it is a frameless shower enclosure to open up your bathroom, a sleek glass railing, glass partitions or walls or maybe a glass waterfall countertop or a wine room….whatever your glass dream is, Gatsby Glass can help you make that dream become a reality.

To get back to the bio part of this, Shantay holds degrees in Business Management and Pre-Law as well as a Master’s degree in Forensic Toxicology. Shantay currently owns a successful business in the healthcare industry and previously co-operated another business in the healthcare industry. In addition, she has worked with contractors to build and remodel homes over the past few years. Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, she was in pharmaceutical, medical device, and laboratory sales for 14 years and prior to that she worked in the legal field for 6 years.

Away from her professional pursuits, Shantay is married with two children. Her family is her heart, so family matters most. She loves her community and the people in it. As for hobbies, she has a few. She enjoys transforming spaces into something beautiful and elegant. She’s an avid drawer, and practices yoga. Her love of travel is fueled by her interest in historic cities. She proudly has a personal relationship with God, and her spirituality is the core of her being.
