Michael Wetherington owns and operates Gatsby Glass in North Dallas. A long time Dallas resident, he moved here in 1987 and truly fell in love with it. He’s excited for the future of Gatsby Glass, as he brings beautiful, sophisticated glass solutions to homes and businesses in Dallas.
Before Gatsby Glass, Michael’s experience was in finance. He worked 25 years in capital markets, most recently for Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss. In addition to his track record for building and managing portfolios, he was widely respected for his ability to develop trusting, productive relationships. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & Finance from Southern Methodist University.
He has been involved with the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD) for more than 20 years and has held numerous leadership positions including chairing the Stewardship and Membership committees. More recently, he was Chair of the Investment Committee for the $70M endowment and sat on the Endowment Board.
Away from work, Michael stays very active too. He’s a cycling fanatic and enjoys both college football, and music.
